Message Sorry for the lack of information...

I just threw out the 305 size as an example. I have been hearing about the rolling process but no-one said what the actual increase could be or what it does to the wheel well.

As for the 100 % stock thing...
I have a vg30dett from a 92 with 42,000 km that we are building in my garage. I don't know what HP we will be shooting for yet (kinda depends on spousal approval) but I definately wont be putting it in until the numbers are over 450 or so (also will be doing an aluminum flywheel and light weight one piece drive shaft).

As for tire sizes, I will most likely be trying to do:

255/35/18 Front
285/30/18 Rear

with a one inch drop.

I will be using the car for Autocross as much as possible and was hoping to get as much traction as possible.

My curiosity was mostly about the process and how it is done. IE: does it simply bend the lip on the wheel well upwards? If it does, doesn't water get stuck in the seam?

As for getting them cut... are you referring to the lip? If so, did you do it yourself or have it done? What do you use to cut them? Does it leave any lip at all?

I really appreciate the help.

Thanks
Shawn
